I'm a 40 y/o heterosexual male, I'm a healthcare professional living in USA. I don't have any motivation to get married. What should I do?

Well, if you don't have any reasons to get married, why are you even considering it?
Marriage is not a goal in itself. If it does nothing for you then forget about it.

I am going though the same thing. The majority marries and therefore society looks down on those who are different. It is harder for women because of the "spinster" stereotype. But men are under pressure too sometimes from their familes.
I have been thinking about this topic a lot. I have decided it is cowardly to be afraid to be different.
If less people gave in to the pressure to marry, there would be less divorce.

Are you out of your skull, you have the perfect setup for cheap meaningless sex and dumping the girl after a few weeks for a newer model without going through a messy divorce. And you are wondering if you should get married?

Nothing. You don't have to get married to have a fantastic and fulfilling life by ANY MEANS. Marriage is certainly not a requirement for happiness and success.

Live your life, date if you feel like it. If you meet the right person, you will know... if you don't then just be okay with it, it's better than being married to someone you're not in love with

Only get married when you are ready and in love otherwise you will regret it and the marriage won't last because you will go through life resenting your wife.

There is no reason that anyone should get married if they do not want to. Some people are just if not more happy if they don't. Stay happy....

you will get married when you feel like it ..dont let society dictate what you should do ...do what you want to do...you sound like a catch...mothers always told their daughters to marry a man who is a healthcare professional or someone in law...shhh be quiet...lol you caused a stir lol...do what you want honey its your life...dont let anyone push you to do what you dont want to....
