Many athletes do not get periods, mostly because they stop when the body fat is very low. When they stop working out, it returns.

Also, many women with anexoria do not get periods, but this isn't a recommended method.

A condom, along with the pill is probably the best method to prevent pregnancy (the rhythm method, when used properly is somewhat less effective).

There are also herbal methods that work similar to the morning after pill, but it takes a qualified herbalist to properly administer these herbs. Usually they are herbs classified as emmenogogues.

Some types of birth control can make you stop having your period, the best method is to not have sex, but if you are sexually active there are many different types of birth control out there depending on your life style.
there are condoms, that when used correctly are very reliable,
condoms are also the only method that also protects you from STDS as well
there are birth control pills and patches, which when taken correctly are very reliable when taken as directed, since they do have hormones they do have certain risks that you have to talk to your doctor about.
there are also more permenant measures, like the depo shot, or IUDs that are good alternatives, they are more reliable, because they do not depend on you remebering to take a pill, but they also have risks as well

There is a shot you can get for no period----but when you go OFF it, your period is really awful.

No SEX means the only sure way to no baby.. 2nd best is sterilazation---you are probably too young, since reversing it is expensive & unlikely.
Best is the pill----only if takenEXACTLY as you are supposed to ( I have a son because I forgot to take it a couple times).
Use condoms anyway--see above.

Actually stopping your period is actually not a good thing.. its messes with your hormones. But there is a medication out there that you have it I believe 3xs a year.

The best way not to get pregnant. Is not to have sex, but if you going to have it use a condom.. but remember condoms can break.

I would say take the pill but you can get pregnant on the pill
Check out this site on www.webmd.com.

I've been on Depo-provera for many years I haven't had a peiod in over five years ( the last one sent me to the ER). it's better (99.99% or something like that) than getting your tubes tied (sounds stupid but i read it somewhere) anyways, the biggest letdown is the calcium issue, just eat a tums or those choclate calcium chews everyday ....good luck hope i've helped
