I can imagine it,

in front of a grand counsel 10, before anyone could have children they had to pass a parentling class, common sense education, manners and "putting your foot down" seminar as well as show educational/ financial background and Mental/emotional health.

If they didnt get the go ahead from at least 80% of the cousel, they would not be allowed to have children and after 5 trys of never getting it right they would lose the priviledge completely.

the world would have better people, i swear.......!

dont you agree?

I agree. Another good approach would be to give incentives to people to not have kids. For example: if someone is a criminal, a crackhead, violent, or otherwise unfit....we pay them a large sum of money to get sterilized. That way it's not against their will and the government stays out of it except by the subject's choice. If they're on crack or meth, they'll want the money. Fewer neglected kids and a more stable society.

Yes but there is too much error liable on that. What if the counsel was prejudiced, what if people went along and had a baby without asking the counsel. It goes against Moral laws of governing what people can and cannot do. That would be too much government control. It is controlling and a bit fascist.

I had my son when I was in high school, yes I should have been using birth control, but the situation was something I couldn't take back. I never had a parenting class but having a baby by myself, managing a retail store, and going to college is not easy. I did what I could and parenting just kind of came to me. You can't judge. Not everyone knows what they are doing but out of love you do what you can.

HA HA HA! You're awesome! You should run the WORLD! I'm not even close to joking, you're my role model! Even tho that would be a dictatorship, honestly, do we SEE society today?? It's a trainwreck! I would probably fail the first few times, ha ha, not on the putting my foot down part, but there's a lot of good to what you said and I think people would learn from their mistakes and really try hard to do a good job if they truly wanted a child. I think you said it all. I think that's a lesson to us all really. For all of you who dis this girl, you probably have issues that you don't EVEN want to discuss on here! Ha ha ha...

Yeah, I think Hitler was trying to do something similar to that. Honestly I understand what you mean, but I think we need to leave that up to God. Maybe it should be mandatory that everyone has to go to church at least 3 x's a week. What about people that don't believe? See what I mean?

No. Only the rich would be able to afford them. Not to mention that the whole idea sounds like something communists would dream up.
