the robots will play a heart when it has not been broken and they have other suits to play other then hearts....sre they not suppose to play other suit first?

it has to be a bug in yahoo's programing as the bots should not be able to do that.rules apply to both robots and players.

Players may not lead hearts until hearts have been played on a trick or hearts is the only suit left in the hand of the player leading.
As long as the computer doesn't have the suit played, it can legally play a heart on a suit that it doesn't have any of. That is how "hearts are broken." It is how the suit is trumped. It can chose to trump or it can chose not to (unlike spades). ...from the rules on yahoo: breaking hearts

During Play of the Hand:

If hearts have not been played and a player finds herself in the lead with only hearts the hand is abandoned and no score is counted.
