I like to play pokemon and i dont know if it is too childish

You're talking about the video game, right? I don't think you're ever too old for it. I think it's a fun game.
However, 9th grade is too old to be playing with Pokemon toys and wearing Pikachu slippers. As long as you aren't doing that, you're fine!

YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO PLAY POKEMON!
I know people who are college & adults who play Pokemon because of the challenge. There's tons of strategy involved in the game & more when you play against others. Personally, I've invested combined total of over 400 hours in the game series & I'm still learning the finer points of strategy.
I wouldn't advise owning a lot of Pokemon-related toys (a few is OK), but the games are perfectly OK to own & play.

Nope....I still love Pokemon and I'm in the 10th grade. I gave up on the trading cards cause they're a waste of money. Instead, I go for the games like Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

No, i'm in 9th grade. it incredibly is badass. Pokemon doesnt incredibly have an age shrink. I dnt watch the shows or something, yet I play the GB video games.. And the prolonged kinfolk area is nerdy.. yet no longer the reality that he likes it..

Drop the cards and get a Pokemon video game. If othe people play, then you're good. If they don't, then they'll never know. But, if you like Pokemon, then forget what other people think. I'm in the 12th grade and i still watch cartoons.

even if someone says it's childish, its still ok to play it. if it's a game u like to play, play it if u want! no one's going to stop u. my cousin is in the 9th grade and he still plays pokemon. i don't think pokemon is childish. my friends think it is, but i don't. i'm obsessed with it! XD

Well I think that it is not bad if you play video games like pokemon even your in 9th grade because I can see many college student like my brother and some highschool student are addicted to video games like pokemon and no one even cares if they play games like that. But if you wear costumes and tried to act like one they will find you weird.

I'm 29 years old, and if I know I'm gonna have to wait somewhere for a couple hours, I bring my Gameboy Advance and a couple games (including Pokemon). As long as you realize it's just a game, you're okay.

the video game is now a *classic*
the cards however....are a bit creepy if you're in the 9th grade....
as long as you're not being a pokemon for halloween though, it's ok.

no one is too "OLD" to play any game. IT depends whether you like it or not. most people say they are for kids is that beacuse they see that some groups of people started to give this idea that it is for kids, so they all follow along. It is justthe same question as " is a 27 year old too old for Halo 2?"
