Cash flow is a surplus. It is the cash that the business does not required for day to day operation. When an accountant prepare a cash flow statement, he adds up all the cash the company has
that include bank loans, account receivables, cash sales investment, etc., and then deduct any payments and liabilities to arrive to a net cash flow.
