No.

We got mad because Bush and his stuffed suits who never answered the call like Kerry did, have the nerve to Bash the troops, Kerry is one of the troops.

Kerry is one of us. He earned it.

My guys cheered him on for speaking what we couldnt,

that the Iraq Quagmire was not necessary and is a failed venture.

My dad, Sgt Major 28years, My Brother and E-5 and a MP and my
buddies i went to school with in the Army flying scout copters all support John Kerry, a brother in arms.

And we havent fogotten that Foley was chasing teenagers through the halls of congress while Hastert covered his behind( no pun).

6 years with the Army Reserve and proud of it...I did not get angry because I know it was not a shot at our troops!

How could anyone believe Kerry...a Veteran, could purposely say something against our troops?

He might have used a poor choice of words but his intention was Political, not a personal attack at our Military!

I can see by some answers here, that believing if Kerry took a shot at our troops, was intentional or not, is strictly on Party lines.

I won't take that route...Just like I would never believe that Bush had anything to do with 9/11...like many of my fellow Democrats believe, I do not believe Kerry took a shot at our troops on purpose!

Of course you thought it was intended for Bush (ha-ha). How could you have thought that when Kerry wasn't talking about Bush, Kerry knows Bush is smarter than him so it had nothing to do with Bush's education. Kerry will always be known as a traitor to the military. Oh, did you know Kerry was a Vietnam hero? Sure you did.

Your assumptions on target. There is no political gain in bashing the troops. It was in fact intended for Bush. I don't believe Kerry is that dumb, nor most people either. So let's the spinning keep spinning, it's good for the republican choir.

My husband has served 17 years in the United States Air Force (because he wants to). He is currently serving in Iraq, and in his little bit of free time, he is currently taking a distance learning course to further his education. Furthermore, my husband volunteered for his current mission in Iraq because he believed it to be important to the War on Terror. Meanwhile, I am home with two small children and taking two classes working toward my BA. Frankly, I'm insulted by Senator Kerry's remarks.

This comment merely shows Senator Kerry's ignorance regarding today's military. We're stronger and smarter than ever. Regardless of the context, he implied that military folks are uneducated and have no initiative.

If he would look closer, he would see the thousands of active duty personnel and their families that leave work every day to go home, grab a bite to eat, and then run out to a night class. We strive to achieve more so that we can serve better. Military life offers the opportunity for an education and immeasurable life experience to anyone who will seek it out.

No I am not for getting that Republicans, Bush, and the Iraq war is the issue in this election not Kerry's verbal fight with the G.O.P spin masters matters not to me or any other person with a brain.

Oh get over it. It wasnt an intentional criticism of the military and you all know it. Where was your question asking if Mom's were upset about the Repubs hiding the fact that Foley was a pervert who preyed on teenage boys?

My son did. His English is excellent & there was no joke, it was told in perfect context to be advice for students. He did not laugh, smile or otherwise after saying it.

Showing a paper he says was a rough draft of his speech is a childish & completely unable to prove defense.
