I have heard "The shoe makes the man" Is this true and do all women think this?

Not all women judge by the type of shoe a man wears.. But if u are wearing dirty shoes or really used up shoes then that kinda says you dont take care of yourself or that you cant afford to buy other or weat nicer.

Personally I think that only materialistic women do this. Don't go dumping all your shoes and replace them with gucci yet (if you are trying to impress a certain somebody). Just make sure that you have fairly clean shoes that are not worn down through the sole.

Of course not ALL women think this.
But I was told by a friend's older sister that she won't date a guy with bad shoes. At first it sounded really shallow on her part, but I suppose she equates a guy with good shoes as a guy that pays attention to detail, and thus her as well.
It's like handwriting I suppose. You're supposed to tell if somebody is 'neat' or 'messy' by their handwriting.
For me, I really could care less what kind of shoes a guy wears as long as I know his personality fits mine and he treats me with respect =D

This is the craziest thing I have ever heard LOL. Personally as long as the shoes aren't full of holes I dont care if they come from wal-mart, goodwill, whatever ..... shoes are shoes.

well they have to have good shoes like they can;t be old and beaten up but as far as what brand no i on;t care about that there are other things that i care more about

Umm. It's fine with me if they're old and ragged, that's how my shoes are. Whatever is your style. Barefoot is cool too.
