media is playing a very important role in today's world. especially the TV. sitting at home we can literally see what's happening at any part of the world. see the coverage we have seen during the gulf war then the kargil invasion. then of course we have seen all the sting operations that have been conducted in recent times by the various channels. media has literally invaded our households. this has its good side & bad too. sometimes we are shown much more than we want to see. yes, its a fact that what they show is reality but then there are times we do not want to face that reality. in the recent case of mumbai train blasts, we were repeatedly shown bodies & parts of bodies strewn all over. some families identified their kin by those pictures, thats something which will stay as a nightmare for them forever.
media has made us, the general public aware of many rights & responsibilities.
