I am friends with a woman who didn't know she was pregnant or in labor until the baby came out! She thought she was getting really sick and had to go to the bathroom (but believe me, she didn't think what was happening was normal).
In her case, though, her baby was very underweight and had a genetic syndrome. She got her period through the pregnancy, gained little weight, and he didn't move around much so she didn't feel him. it's weird, but in her case it really does make perfect sense - the baby was only a few pounds at birth (he's big now!)

This lady in WA, though - that's weird! She's fat, but not THAT fat, and she's no first time mom. Plus, her baby looks big and healthy. Perhaps she didn't want to admit to herelf that she was pregnant, but she must have had some indication!

It is possible. When I was in high school, there was a lady in my town that did not know she was pregnant until she delivered. She was very large to begin with and so that didn't really change. She went into the hospital complaining of bad indigestion and lo and behold came out with a baby. I know that the story is true because my aunt worked with her and knew her well. She was not married and the time that she got pregnant was the first time that she had sex and she did not have any after that (she may have now that her child has been born but not before). I don't know whether she felt any kicks or not, but being as large as she was it would have been very easy for her to dismiss baby movement if she felt any.

I believe it!!!!
I remember when I was younger this exact thing happened to an old neighbor. She was mid 20's, married. She was a bigger girl.
Had never had a regular period. She even said she was sure she had a period once or twice during the pregnancy. Keep in mind this was in the Late 70's early 80's before over the counter pregnancy tests and sex education in schools, no older sisters and pretty nice innocent parents..........I'm sure her mother never had the sex talk with or it was something along the lines of " now your husband will want to do things and it's best if you let him because that's what men like to do and that's what you do after you're married." Anyways I remember she went to the DR. then straight to the hospital and had a full term baby 3 days later!!!

My best friends mother did not know she was pregnant with my best friend! She had no morning sickness, her period arrived on time every month she was pregnant, she thought she was putting on weight but assumed it was simply because she was eating more, and she never felt my friend kick (or if she did she passed it off as something else). She was told years before my friend was born that she was unable to have children and so it simply did not enter her realm of possibility. When she went into labour she went to hospital complaining of severe stomach cramps and they told her she was in labour! And she was drinking (moderately - she was never a heavy drinker) and smoking the whole way through her pregnancy. My friend was born perfectly healthy and normal in every way without even the hint of anything being wrong. They kept her in hospital for a few weeks simply because the mother hadn't known she was pregnant and they wanted to be sure nothing was wrong with the baby!

SO it can happen!!!

I would think it was for publicity -- I had witness someone the "claimed" that they weren't pregnant. I was the manager of a super market and she was one of the cashiers, she didn't look pregnant at all but her water broke while she was ringing up a customer So I am not sure what to believe

Have you ever watched the "Discovery Health" channel a.k.a. "the freak show channel"? They have some really crazy stuff on there, but they had this woman who had a baby inside her for some ridiculous period of time, like 60 years. Apparently it was ectopic, it died, and her body had rejected it and just built a big calcium shell around it. So I suppose anything's possible.

It can happen. There are many people out there that are "big" in weight that are unaware. She didn't carry to full term. Why would a women just deliver a baby at term and not go to a doctor during the pregnancy? I have heard many people that this happens to. There are many women out there that have their periods threw their whole pregnancy and never know.

Totally Fake. Morning Sickness, baby kicking, etc. It's impossible to not know.

Sounds like a stunt -- How do you not feel the baby moving around.

she had a previous problem with cysts or tumours or something and was told by the Dr that they symptoms she was having was because of that, until she could no longer bend down with out having pains.....
turns out the Dr was wrong on that one
