first you must have pc to pc connection...
using lan (local area network)
by using RJ45 (crossover) cables you can connect two
computer and can send message directly through it...
before you can use those above command such as net

You can probably use the net send command to send and receive messages from one computer on the network to another.
1 - Click Start
2- Hit Run
3- Type 'cmd' in the open box.
4- Click OK
5- In the command window, type the following
6- NET SEND COMPUTER_NAME "MESSAGE"
Eg : net send marks_pc "Hi Mark!"
In windows XP SP2, you must Enable and Start the"Messenger" service.
1- Click Start
2- Click Run
3- Type SERVICES.MSC in the Open box
4- Click Ok
5- In the Services window, locate the "Messenger" Service.
6- Right Click on it and select properties in the context menu.
7- In the Startup Type drop down list, select "Automatic".
8- Click apply.
9- Now click on the start button.
you can test the net send command by sending a message to your own computer.
net send MY_COMPUTER_NAME "Hi, this is me!"

are both of the computers are connected with each other? if not first you will have to do some networking stuff, configure settings so that both of your pc could be connected with each other.
once connected you can send message through net send command from Run, or install and network software which helps network communications.
