I read a play one time (WISH I could find it) and it had Dorothy, Alice (Alice in Wonderland), and Susan (Chronicals of Narnia) in a therapy/support group for girls who fell into fantasy worlds. In it, Dorothy loved the Tinman (you know, cuz he had a heart).

Uh, she was supposedly a 12 year old girl and marriage would have been the last thing on her mind. Judy Garland had to bind her chest for the role, since, she was a young woman at 15 years old,

i dont think so because he was made of straw and it would have been hard for them to make real/straw babies cause his doo doo would have been pretty weak. do scarecrows even have doodoos? neways she was always going to go home because the ruby slippers were always on her feet.:)
