Entertain people and interact with them.
Tell interesting stories/fables that would help spread awareness about saving wildlife and doing few basic things to keep the earth green.
Finally, offer them 'free hugs'. :)

I've been a street performer. I have a regular day job, but I was playing a street fair last week.

I think it would be very easy for me only because i am an extreme extrovert and like to be in front of people. I think it depends on your personality
