Do glamour spells work? I keep getting different answers from different witches. Some say they don't, others say they do work, only I'm not able to see the glamour but other people are. Is that true? Has anyone here ever done a glamour and had it work? If so, (I know we're not supposed to share spells but I'm no good at writing my own right now) could you please tell me how to do it?

First of all I don't have a problem sharing spells. They are to be changed up and made your own. If you couldn't use other peoples spells, why are there thousands of spell books out there on the market. Glamour spells, if you can't see it you are not paying close enough attention. Glamour spells, should be able to be seen by you as well as everyone else. They are done most of the time for other people to see. So it is not a drastic thing that you can't see it. Also, try like the previous post said, and do an eye color spell. Start small and pay attention. With practice you can turn it into a fine art...Best of luck to you...

Glamour Spell

Hello There,

Ahhh....the wonderful world of Paganism. ~hehehe~ It's so easy to get confused since there is so much diversity concerning the same subject matter. I hope my post doesn't confuse you even more, but here we go.

Yes, I have performed a glamour spell and it worked wonderfully. I done one to change my eye color and everyone around me seen the change, including myself. My eyes are actually blue, but I changed them to green. It was so cool!

My husband (who is also Pagan) cloaks himself in an invisibility glamour when he doesn't want to be seen. He doesn't go completely invisible of course...that would be impossible, but he cloaks his essence and aura so that he goes unnoticed. He has actually tricked me with his invisibility quite a few times. One example is this: We live in a 2 -story apartment and he once went downstairs to get himself a drink of water, came back up the stairs, sat in his computer chair---which is right next to mine--- and I had no clue that he even left in the first place. He started laughing his butt off, so I asked him what was so funny. Then he explained the entire thing to me. I thought it was a trip!

(By the way, any time that you change a a physical trait about yourself it is considered a glamour. Most people think you can only do what they do in the movie "The Craft". This is simply not so.)

Anyhow, the point is that glamour does work, as long as you want it badly enough. It's just like any other type of magick....your intention and need must be great for it to work. The best glamour spell is one that you write for yourself, but here is a site to give you some inspiration: http://www.perfectlypagan.com/list.php?pagenum=0&catid=18 . They have a great collection of glamour spells.

Good luck with everything. Blessed be!

First of all, I'm not a Pagan. In fact, I don't prescribe to any type of organised religion. My relatonship with my creator is my own. Now that that's out of the way, let me tell you about the first glamour I ever used (without practice, mind you!).....
I wanted to go to "Steak and Shake" across town. My truck lacked tags and insurance, so I decided to try an experiment and make it invisible to the local authorities. It worked out very well!! I made it to S&S without a hitch!! I sat down very hungry and waited for the waitress...And waited and waited some more....I made noises, lit cigarettes and finally realised that my glamour worked too well!!! I had waited for over an hour at that table before I realised what had happened!!!
As soon as I undid the glamour in my mind, they all looked at me like I just appeared...One of them even asked how long I'd been there!!!
Now from my perspective, I was plain for all to see, but from everyone elses perspective, I simply wasn't there!!!
Since then I've come up with some great ones....The next time you're trying to convince some one to give you something, surround yourself with a glamour of butterflies....It's very distracting to them and you're more likely to get what you need.
At the other end of the spectrum, you can surround yourself with a glamour of angry hornets and watch the crowd you're trying to fight your way through part like the red sea!!! (I like doing this last one at the mall when theres too many people around and I'm in a hurry!)
I hope this helped...You can email me if you want furthur info about my personal invisibility glamour...But I'm not posting it here!!

I can make myself unnoticed, I do it now and then by accident and its almost second nature. Of course, I am not naturally the most outgoing person.

actual physical change I've only done once, once again by accident, I spent three days with purple eyes before someone asked where I got the cool contacts.

Personally, I'd suggest starting small, perhaps the nose job you always wanted, as if you screw up your eye colour change, and say you turned your eyes invisible, well, blindness -is- only mild but you might have some explaining to do.

As you cast a seeming on your self you may not see the change yourself as you are trying to change how other people see you. The test of success is if others take you for someone else.

All spells only work as good as the caster. Sorry but true. If you can cast other spells and they work you can cast a glamor spell. Start small.. like changing your eye color.
