contract with articles and such. They actually put it down on paper. It was created by disgraced Dick Armey, disgrace Newt Gengrich, and disgraced Tom DeLay. Do you see a pattern here?

They never promised that all ten items in the Contract would be signed into law, (no political party could promise that) but they did bring all the items up for a vote, which IS what they promised to do. Nine of the ten did pass in the House Only the Citizen Legislature Act failed to pass. It did receive a simple majority, but required a two-thirds majority to pass. Contract fulfilled.
Now, don't you feel foolish, having demonstrated to the world how ignorant of the facts you really are?

I have in basic terms to assert that i stumbled on it very puzzling hitting correct from "Granddad became" and that i have a feeling i comprehend the position this is going because i'm in all likelihood examining too a lot "between" the lines.. Actually a lot of Republicans are annoyed with the guys they elected who did not get done what they said they would, but most politicians on both sides don't fulfill a lot of their promises.
A lot of Republicans are annoyed that more was not done while we had the majority.

All the Republicans managed to fulfill was their assertion that the party in power had become corrupt. Once they came into power, they too became corrupt. I think we should let the losers rule instead. That might keep them honest.
