Why wouldn't it be ok to continue to take showers? It's perfectly fine to take showers... and baths too! You just have to make sure to not have the water too hot.
Good luck.

Hi there,
There is no reason you cannot showers.
But later, If your water breaks, or you have your "bloody show" you might feel as if you want to jump in the bathtub or shower to clean up before you go off to the hospital. DON"T DO THAT.
Once your water breaks, you can get dirty water inside you.
BEST BET. Just wash up, and wait for the contractions to start,
Keep your doctor up to speed. Call when water breaks. Call when you have a bloody show. Ask him/her what time (between contractions) you should head off to the hospital.
The only reason I can think of for you asking this question is maybe you thought you might slip while showering. Just be careful, but that applies at any time, for everyone.
Good luck. Motherhood is Wonderful.
And talk with your Doctor, they will answer all your question honestly. Don't listen to others stories. Everyone is different.

It is fine. Just make sure the water isn't too hot-excessive heat can make your blood move to certain areas and away from the baby. Baths are fine too, just avoid saunas and hot tubs. If you are worried about slipping, add some of those sticky no-slip things to the bottom of your tub. You could also use a mat if you perfer, but bending over to pick it up and clean it gets hard the further along you get.

You should definitly take showers because pregnant women are very sensitive to smell. Just make sure its warm not hot. Your baby is living on your temperature so you need to keep it at a normal level. Never too hot or cold.

Yes, it is okay to continue to take showers. I don't think there is a period during pregnancy when showers are restricted.

Certainly, I've never heard of anyone wanting to know. Makes me wonder what you've heard. It's probably safer to shower than it is to take long baths.

Yes it is fine to take showers just not baths, because infection could get up there and harm the baby.

You can take showers but avoid hot tubs because it will elevate your body temperature.
