it depends on how formal the dance is if its really formal go to cache or lilly ruben for more understated elegance i would try BCBG they always have cute dresses.

I would suggest starting at a department store (Macy's, JCPenney, etc, even Target, depending on your budget) and then if you can't find anything there or you're really looking for something special, go to boutiques or private designer stores like Jessica McClintock.
Look online at places like edressme.com, loralie.com. If you are a plus size then I highly recommend Sydney's Closet (sydneyscloset.com). Enjoy homecoming!

Well if you want to look for one online then go to Nordstrom.Com They have a slection just for homecoming dresses and you can even buy them online. Its great i love shopping for dresses there.
