I need new ways besides telemarketing to generate business...help!!

You want to get your business card to builders and real estate agents to start. You need word of mouth on who plans to move(garage sales) can be an indication. If you do re-mort. then be in touch with re modelers and those people whose last kid is in h.s.

You need to actually visit real estate offices. Possibly ask to be a guest speaker at on of their meetings, which are usually held weekly. Go to the real estate offices frequently and pass out rate sheets. If you can "win over" one agent with excellent service and rates, and actually help them close the deal they will refer you to many others.

Learn to ask the following questions of everyone you know.
Of everyone you know, who do you think is moving next?
Of everyone you know, who do you think might refinance their home to pull money out for college expenses, home improvement etc.?
Here's the important follow up... Great! give me their phone number.
I'm an agent... and I have no desire to meet any more mortgage brokers... start with your sphere of influence.
