I know the show is all about entertainment, but if they really are finding top talent, shouldn't more albums be platinum? I'm just wondering if any winners or runners up have done it.

i think it all comes down to the album itself, people want to see these new singers to have their own identity, you know, its like, when you hear a particular song, you know they sing it.
