She is new to you, you are new to her, Dad is even newer as she wasnt inside him for 9 months! (He is however the only other parent she has, and i think they know them and thier voices etc) I think that she and Dad are fine, at only 2 and a half months, she needs to be given the chance realise Dad is not just her safetey, provider and awsome to play with, but that Dad too can be the best cuddley spot for a snuggle and sleep (mind you, with breast feeding i found my boys only wanted me, not cause im mum, but cause im dinner :))

Is this the first child? Maybe the dad is a little nervous and the baby senses this. Remember there is nothing like the Mommy.

At 9 months, infants bypass by way of a clingy degree with Mommy, frequently. it ought to be that Daddy's donning new cologne or something else that's offending the child. i does no longer subject approximately it too lots. he will nevertheless love Daddy while he comes out of this area, in some months.

Because he is not you. You are the one who she looks to for security. He does not smell the same or even feel the same when he hold her. It is very normal. My daughter did the samething. Now, she is 6 and I can't keep her away from her dad. They have an awesome relationship.
