Sex sells for the simple reason that it is something that everyone is interested in.

Honestly? You need the answer to that? Of course it does. Why? Because we love to be titillated and we are stupid/silly enough to buy products that have nothing to do with the sex used to sell them.

We're just far too sexed-up; it's the best way to get our attention.

Because we are very sexual beings and sex is eye candy to everyone.
