As predicted: The Liberals herein begin with the, "He was 'misquoted' " Excuse #1...

If being articulate and eloquent is the preferred value of Far Left Wing ACLU Adoring Liberals, then The Dems, like that Sliver Tounged Perjurer "Slick Willy Clinton" and the dementia ridden Jimmy Carter and 'Dr' Howard Dean certainly have the advantage...well, maybe not Dean...

They give a whole new meaning to the statement, "It's NOT what you say but "how" you say it that counts"!

As a paralyzed Vietnam Vet I didn't appreciate what he did when he called us Baby Killers and cowards. He was a traitor then and is one now. In fact he sounds more and more like his wife everyday!

I certainly think his tin medals and conjured up war record are as dusgusting as his remark about our young men and women in Iraq.

He did us a great service, he really energized the Conservative and Moderate Base to get out and vote, not so much for the incumbents or current policy but to vote AGAINST the Liberals

No, it's not how you say it, but what the NY Times says you said that counts.

I think the Swifties need to write a sequel to "Unfit for Command".

They could call it "Not Worth the Powder and Shot It Would Take to Blow Him Up".

That's good! The biggest difference is: Conservatives believe in God, smaller government, and personal responsibility. Liberals suffer a mental disorder and believe (read as dream) that the State (i.e. government) should play the role of God in order to create a Heaven on Earth (where there is no need for personal responsibility b/c the government will make all choices for all individuals). I'm pretty sure that's what the story above gets at.

Freudian slip. he said what he 'really' felt. If he were truly sorry why did he have a press conference to refuse to apologize, but made his 'non apology' apology on his web site only

His other quotes from 72 show that he has nothing but disdain for the armed forces, and that he feels a volunteer army is only attractive the poor, and "the black and the brown" His words from '72.

Sorry, I am not far left Liberal, but I am pretty damn disgusted at how a jab at Bush was twisted into a slam against the troops. You have got to be kidding if you really believe he was slamming fellow veterans. What a pathetic attempt to try to gain a few votes for a failed presidency and congress.

well i'am not really into politics but i will say this i think kerry was taking a pot shot at bush. and somehow it got twisted around to sound like he was putting down the troops who are out there just doing their jobs for thier country. i do not like war but i support the troops. besides maybe kerry just should've kept his mouth shut if he had not said anything at all then he would not now be in hot water!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember "Willie-wonka" when he said, "It all depends upon what your definition of is is"

America's Liberal side seems to be full of "story-tellers" who will say anything to get a vote.

Kutie Kerry is now repeating his stand back when he scratched his way out of further duty in Vietnam. That's when the jerk tried to tear down the military with a stack of rotten lies before Congress. Now he's telling people that you can avoid serving your country by staying in college and that only idiots serve their country.

Why Massachusetts keeps electing him is another joke.

I am missing something. Kerry called you a baby killer and a coward? You were with him in a firefight with the Vietcong?

If you were here the day the conservative media made this into a "story", you would have seen all the shitto-heads so gleeful that they might once again be able to lie their way past all the failed programs of the Bush administration, they practically pissed all over themselves like a box of spastic little puppy dogs.

They really jerked themselves into a lather. It was the mother of all jerkfests.

LOVE the "Kerry was misquoted!" crowd...
He stuck his foot in his mouth and blames others for the taste.
