A week ago, I went to a dinner party and it got a little boring, so I excused myself to the bathroom. Everyone was outside at the pool/patio in the backyard. So, just out of curiosity, I snuck into the garage and went downstairs where the hosts kept all their old junk. It was dark, and I kind of crept around quiety in case anyone was there. I see this professional-looking 40-ish man laying on a sofa, but he was facing away from me. He was naked - wearing nothing but tie and socks, and he had, I kid you not, a SOCK PUPPET (with a smiley face drawn with marker) covering his hand and used that to slap his, um, "thing". I freak out and run upstairs and right after I was out of sight, he screamed from below "WHO'S THERE!?". Later, I ask the host who the man "with the purple tie with yellow stripes" was (of course I don't tell what happened), and he turned out to be somebody he hardly knew. Was it what I'm thinking? It was so disgusting to watch, he was flabby and profusely hairy. :x

If you took the time to think this out, you would know the answer. Jesus was both fully man and the one God in flesh. The mediator between man and God is the MAN Christ Jesus, that is, the humanity of Jesus. The same chapter points out that it is unusual for a mediator to be a mediator of one, but God is one. So God became the mediator Himself.
