This presentation will affect my grade, and I will get a B or C in the class and my parents will kill me (they want everything perfect). Please Answer! Every Answer IS REALLY REALLY APPRECIATED! Thank YOU!

if you're talking about a book, i think a subplot is kind of like a story within the main idea.alot of times there is more than one thing going on at once that differ from the main plot of the story

OK, here goes...A subplot is a subordinate plot to the main plot of the story. The best way I can explain this is like this: Two guys are traveling to California to see and surf in the Pacific Ocean - this is the main plot. While they are traveling there, they are sidetracked for various reasons; for example, they meet some people in a restaurant and are asked to come to their home for dinner and other adventures entail - this would be a subplot.
These little sidetracks occur occasionally on their trip and all of these would be subplots.
They do finally make it to California, etc., etc. - back to the main plot.
I hope this helps.

Subplot is the secondary plot of a play. Take the idea that is after the main idea. Or main plot.
