i'm writing a book right now(or at least i'm trying to) i already know the subject i'm writing about. i don't really have all day to write though(i have school). i want to make it long(chapter long) so i don't have enough paper to do it the proper way my english teacher tought me. the question is " how do i start writeing this book without having to start over with every mistake?"

There are some good novel writing software out there. I use WriteIt Now and it helps a lot. But a lot of my writing is on paper. I use little notebooks sometimes, but mainly use three-ring binders where I can take things out, move them around and add more stuff pretty easily.
And you do not have to start all over just because the story isn't going the way you think you want it to. Just pick up where you want the story to go. Books are like puzzles where you have to figure out just where every piece goes.

Everything is in the rewrite. There is no way you could write a book worth even one piece of paper if you wrote it straight through. Check out a book called Bird By Bird. It's a fabulous book on writing. Also ... use spell check ... :-) It is sitting right up at the top of the box ... only takes a second or two. lol

Make good friends with spell check and a grammar book. Clarity is always more important than length. (At least in literature.)
