Reading your question and most of the answers, and realizing when I first tried to answer this to myself, the thing I came up with was just something that appealled to my vanity. That made me look again and put things in perspective. I have so many things that make me smile everyday but sometimes I take them for granted. God how foolish I was. Thanks!

My Grandfather passed away this morning, and no that is not what made me happy today. At work today a friend of mine told me that she bet that my grandfather and my grandmother and my mom and my uncle, all whom have passed away, are all having a big party today in Heaven after being reuinited. I like to think of them all being together again now. That does make me smile and give me peace.

Well unfortunately today was not so good for me, but I tried to cheer myself up with a South Park episode!!! it made me laugh but I'm not sure that it made me "happy"!
I always wait, give, & forgive the one I love! it's nice to be the "giver" but sometimes I wonder if I'm patient or down right stupid :-(

the one thing that made me smile today was this hug i received from my best friend in the world. it was a major running start hug where i ended up hovering off the ground. bliss in that crowed room. complete bliss.

talking to a friend of mine on my lunch break. My day was pretty crappy and he made me smile. the rest of my shift flew by after that.
