Get rid of "I" - Maybe encourage people to think of others!

C -- because it is kovered by "K" and "S" already.
G would only stand for the hard g sound in good and the ending g in ing. We'd use J for stuff like "Jiant."
Q would also get the aks, because it kould be kovered by kw. And the kursive form is nasty.
X would also be gone. From now on, KS marks the spot.

I would invent a few more letters to kover the sounds that don't get enuf reprezenation. Like, look at poor A -- there must be at least seven different sounds that it kovers. More vowels!

But then again, skool children would have to learn a whole new spelling system, so maybe it's best not to futz with it.

I would eliminate the letters X, Y and Z. They serve absolutely no purpose. I's can replace Y's, X's dont need to be replaced and Z's can be replaced by S's. The last one might sound a little different but there are so few words that have Z's in them that the change will not affectly anyone in any significant way.

Well, you could eliminate the letter F easily...just use PH instea of F.....such as the phish are phrying in the pan. It would take some getting used to but we really don't need the F.

X because really, it has no sound .of it's own. If you use it phonetically it makes the sound of "ks" as in exceptional. Or, you can also use it as a "z" sound as in Xerox or xylophone. Really, it is not necessary and kind of redundant.

Which one would you choose?
