When Bush realized mapquest gave him the wrong directions and he had invaded Iraq, he just made up a few reasons and they bought it.The greater the lie the more people will believe it.

I believe you should go to the Library and begin reading about this event that started over 30 years ago. The biggest problem with the public today is, they don't understand the history of this war. Actually, there seems to be selective reading "only" on the internet and not a very good understanding of history in general.
Remember, if you don't keep up with your history, you'll repeat it.
For example:
Maybe start with Donal Rumsfeld's transcript from 1984 - When you read it, you would think he wrote it yesterday.
How many people remember this guy pulling burning bodies from the Pentagon on 9/11? It was only 5 years ago.
Personally, I think he is too close to this war and should step down. But, the public isn't on par with what this war is trying to accomplish.

At the point that this Administration deliberately misled the American people by promoting the idea that the fight against Iraq was a fight against the terrorists. The terrorists weren't even in Iraq when we went in. Now they are there thanks to George Bush. Even Bush has admitted that 9/11 and Iraq had no connection whatsoever, but there are still Republicans out there who cling to the original lie with all of their might. His father should have finished Hussein in the Gulf War and GW should have finished the job in Afghanistan. Looks like a pattern to me, let's hope Jeb doesn't have White House aspirations.

First it was wmd's and some vague insinuation that Saddam had a role in 9/11. Both proved wrong. Then it became freedom and democracy cause we want to save the Iraqi people from tyranny and oppression. Now it's we are there to win against the terrorists, and the conflict attracts terrorists. Funny how the repubs flip flop on the reasons to stay in Iraq. The lives of our troops are too serious a business to leave to them. Vote Democrat on Nov 7th.

What's the point of climbing over all them rocks and getting shot at from caves (Afghanistan)? We're going to have to face the major terrorist organizations anyway so it might as well be in Iraq unless you suggest we fight them over here in America.
Call me a selfish imperialist, but I kind of LIKE being able to drive to work every day without a bomb going off on the highway or some insurgent shooting holes in my car.
I sleep well at night knowing those troops are over there.
If I ever get some extra money beyond supporting my family I promise I'll financially support those veterans any way I can when they come home.

it was forgotten from day one of the war, that is one of the reasons that we can not go into a real country that supports terrorist and has proven ties to them , the world would never believe anything we had to say about another country again

right after the elections in 2000, war started. blame george for not knowing where it was supposed to be cuz cheney and his energy buddies got the gas deal in afghabnistan, and had to ensure a steady body count to keep our attention diverted from who is getting rich on american blood.
