My husbands side of the family has at least 6 sets of twins. Is it possible that I will.

I am a mom of twins, so now consider this, how would your husband force your egg to seperate into two embryos or make you drop two eggs at once? He can pass the gene to your female baby, but he can't make you have twins.
PS My mother in law was telling people, at first, that her side has blah-blah sets of twins. My husband finally made the same statement to her that I said above and she did quit saying that.
I also kidded my husband that his sperm did not have little superman capes.

It could be. You would need to look at the generations and how they go.
