no i happen to love techno and trance, however the only time i usually listen to that kind of music is at a rave, where you have soooo many watts of sound just blasting into your ears. and most of the people that are really into that type of music are usually on some sort of psycodelic drugs which i have to admit makes the music much more appealing.

I only have a problem if I am at a club and that is the only music that is played. When I go to a club, I like to hear different types of music played not just one style.

I prefer trance, EBM, and dark-wave, but techno is tolerable. I think what puts some people off is the repetitiveness.

I love trance and house, and don't mind some techno (real techno not what people usually consider techno, no DJ Sammy is not techno, neither is DHT).

Not unpleasant at all... I sometimes listen to it while I work (I do manual labor for a living) and I find it meditative and energizing.
