The facts are as pointed out by other answers are that:
1. People do need to get out and vote for this countrys' future. there's no sense of urgency, were just sitting by the wayside waiting for the next game console to come out and burning one with our friends. Even people in their late 30's which is scary. where in the hell is this country going to be 5, 10, 15 years from now?
2.the only thing I see at all that George Bush has is moral and religious integrity plus a determination to stop something that probably is out of reach, even with unsurmountable forces. Homeland security is one thing but this War is very political and similar to the Vietnam fiasco.
3. The division between parties and the bashing of candidates is just childish. Just imagine if the country pulled together for 1 week and put all the energy into resolving these big problems and issues together instead of how big they can suck each other off.
4. We desperately need to move into alternative energies such as solar, wind, and hydrogen. I feel the government has a strangle hold on this policy as well and we people in there who can really get this thing going!
The moral of the story is individuals need to take action and not just sit back and wait for somebody else to change the country. that will never happen in my generation (genx by the way) or generations to come if we the people don't act.

I truly feel that the President is doing what he thinks is the right thing. He loves America and is a great leader in a time when a lesser man would fold.
Why would I lose my freedom?

How do I feel about the President?! He just too freaking incompetent to understand we've already lost our civil liberties in the wake of the 9/11 attacks!! And you already saw the end result of his incompetence! It's also directly responsible for not ratcheting up security at the nation's airports, seaports, and other critical infrastructure! Bush is just too dumb to understand the world going on around us!

Our leadership is deteriorating the ideals of the American principles. This nation was originally established as a nation by the people, for the people, and of the people. Our leaders are now trying to turn it into a nation against the people by tricking the people into thinking wrongly. This nation with its institutions belongs to the people who inhabit it, though. Whenever they grow weary of it, they can use their constitutional right of ammending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it. If the founding fathers gave us anything, they gave us that! Many Americans only need to come to this realization......

In today's world ? What Bush has done with the Patriot Act ? You'd be stupid not to look over your shoulder if you say anything is wrong with Bush or the Government.. since they can literally drag you out of bed .. take you away .. no lawyer .. and family never knows where you went to .. all they have to do is say that "they believe you have terrorists ties .. " .. you think that won't be abused ?? Democracy is over as we knew it. Good Luck ! :)

Interesting - As for security, I hear Bush is tough. But then I hear Democrats stating that Airports / Cargo / Shipping Docks are all at risk and security isn't very good. Which is it? Is he tough on security or not?

Answer: No, you cannot, or MANY people I talk to on a regular basis would have been arrested long ago...
As it is, I simply find their insults laughable.

I admire the president for doing what he thought was best during unexpected and terribly difficult times, I have freedom and it is not threatened by the current administration
The only ones who have anything to fear are those who are terrorists themselves
