The acid is a definite pregnancy symptom.. But throwing up blood is a different issue you should tell your doctor.

Unfortunately, yes. The acid taste is actually stomach acid that digests food. When the stomach is completely empty it can't digest the acid so it is vomited out. If you vomit enough of this acid the acid will literally burn your esophagus and throat and cause them to bleed.

yeah you can throw up blood, especially if she is forcing it all to come out when there isnt much in her stomach. if she has a lot of blood it could mean something more and should call a doctor

I don't think it's normal for anyone to throw up blood. They should get to the doctor fast.

YES! That was the most painful thing I've ever experienced in my life. My throat was so raw that it felt like battery acid eating through my esophogus. That was far more painful than natural childbirth, than my eardrum rupturing, even more painful than my horrible kidney stone.
The only medication that would help me through it was something called "Titralac".

I did. I was throwing up so much that I started to throw up blood. Are you throwing up alot? . I told my doctor about it and she gave me pepcid to help it. I havent thrown up anymore blood either. I was worried about it at first, but I kinda figured it was because of throwing up alot. This is my 4th baby and I had never done that before, but I had never gotten this sick before either.

Yeah, but I think it's an ulcer having nothing to do with being pregnant. She may want to see a doctor.

Yes. However, this could be a problem, and you should probably consult a professional on this...
