Now wait a minute Paul, according to Kerry only dumb people go to the military, which makes Bush smart, right?

Kerry was a lousy soldier doing his time to advance his political ambitions and he is an even worse Senator. He's a big fat negative on the American balance sheet.

He fought the Vietcong armed forces and guerrillas, was wounded. He received a medal for bravery. Unfortunately, his bravery extended to exposing pockets of our own rogue army's atrocities (similar to May Lai) perhaps in the naive idea it would reform the army and make it stronger. For that bravery, he was rewarded with attacks from the likes of the swift boat people. Since I am not as brave as he was, had it been me, I would have kept quiet and did the monkey trick, no hear, no see, no talk.

Are you perchance insinuating that the U.S. Congress of the time was a cabal of Vietcong sympathizers and awarded the congressional medal to Kerry for imagined help he gave the Vietcong? Umm! It's possible, due to the confusion of the time, the medal he received was from the Vietcong forwarded to our government, which our government then pinned on Kerry as courtesy gesture.

Perhaps I also need some re-education: as far as I could tell, not only Kerry but the whole US Armed Forces in Nam supported the South Vietnamese troops. If I am wrong I hope you all forgive me.

Bush used school to stay out of Vietnam, Kerry served in Vietnam then went to school. Who is the big phony here anyway? I say Bush is. Who is putting our national guard troops in harms way for no good reason? I say Bush is.

Kerry ran against Bush, they are different political parties, so anything Bush says Kerry is going to disagree. And as much as everyone is making a fuss about what he said, really think about it... people who are not cut out for college join the services. So graduate college and you can stay here, not go to Iraq.

Kerry's own words are the proof. Kerry is anti military. And Liberals want someone who hates the military to lead and protect our country.Democrats always weaken the military.
