I think bears store a lot of fat because they hibernate.

Not to sure, but I think they are pretty fatty.

They need to get fat for the winter so they won't get cold. I guess they are fat. But after they hibernate, they get thin. Then they get fat and thin over and over again.

hmm... there are all kinds of bears... think most aren't fat unless they are gluttons... but the colder areas have more possibility of fat bears, especially the period before hibernation...

depends on the time of year. in spring time they are thin and spend the summer and fall fattening up so they can hibernate all winter
