While I don't know how to tell you to talk to your mom, but yet I think you should, there are other alternatives.
Even though you are underaged, you can seek treatment for this problem without your parent's knowledge and or consent. Because this has to do with YOUR reproductive system, go to your local health department or planned parenthood office and talk to someone there. They are bound by law not to tell anyone about why you are there. No one can tell you what to do about your reproductive system but you. You could even contact your local women's shelter/crisis center. They will also have information about what you can do about this problem if you are not comfortable talking with your mom.
Again, I do encourage you to find a way to talk to her. No one on here knows your relationship with your mom better than you do.

If you are allergic to condom try taking benadryl for a few days. you still need to see someone. If you find it impossible to talk to her get someone you know well and go to the health dept. It's confidential there and you can get what you need. It would be best to talk to mom but, she will be upset, you're her baby and she will worry. Only natural. So, be ready for that and give her time baby girl, ok? Please, know that no birth control is 100% they all fail at least 6-12% of the time, and that is a big chance in my mind. I got pregnant on the pill, I was married but still. I didn't think it'd happen to me. So, be very careful and assume everyone has a disease. Even genital warts that are rampid cause cervical cancer in women. Half the women I know have had it. It's crazy and they're just now telling the public and it's been around for many, many years. Every time you sleep with a guy you sleep with everyone he slept with, makes you think huh. Just respect yourself a whole big bunch. Get some rest baby girl.

There's absolutely no easy way of telling your mother about an issue so sensitive and delicate. You just have to. I'm sure she'd be more hurt if she found out from someone else that you went to a gynecologist about your suspicions without consulting her first. Look at it this way. Your mom would always have your best interests in mind, and has more experience and wisdom in her life. Besides, wouldn't it be better to have your mom's supporting hand and shoulder when you hear the news from the gynecologist (whether its good or bad)?
GODspeed! :)

ahhh.....sucks to be you. no really, there is no easy way of asking her to take you to the gyno. it's every girls nightmare, but somehow we all manage to do it and come out alive. i would just tell her that you need to go and leave out the gory details of possible stds, unless of course, you're having a serious reaction, and you're breaking out. then tell her to take you asap. you will still want to get to the gyno asap, so that they can take a look at you, in case they need to diagnose you with herpes, hpv, or whatever. for many stds docs diagnose based on what they see. also, when you're there ask for the works (all blood, std testing) now is not the time to be shy. so just walk up to her and say, i need to make an appointment to see the gyno. good luck!

I would just be honest with her, or if you still feel that you can't tell her...just ask her to take to you to the gynecologist. As far as the disease, I would definitely try and get to the doctor as soon as possible. You don't want to wait on that one...Good luck.

I suggest you do something very soon if you suspect a problem. Letting an infection or disease go can render you sterile. Simply tell her you need to discuss something with her and say you feel you need to go to the OB/GYM for a check up.

First don't lie go with the truth in everything you do.
Mom is intelligent and she will understand, I know at first she will be mad but then she will come around. Go ahead talk to MOM, she is your best friend ever and she will always want what is best for you.

Just remember that she is your mother, and she was your age once, and she loves you more than you can even imagine, and she understands a LOT! Maybe even express to her that it's hard to be talking to her about this before you tell her.
