It's really sad, isn't it? I don't know if it could get reversed...do you remember the Dove advertising campaign where they used women who were not skinny-anorexic, but rather women who were both average and plus size? Well a lot of people were angered by that and preferred to see the anorexic models rather than the overweight ones. I think, unfortunately, we have all become accustomed to this negative ideal physique. I hope it can get reversed!

the best way to reverse it would be to ignore it. Stop going to the movies that star the Bobble Heads. Stop buying the gossip rags that display them, stop buying clothes that look not so good unless it's on a hanger. As Hollywoods' and the Fashion industries pocket books suffer, we'll be richer and helping a new generation learn about healthy images.

It's been this way ever since the first silent film. Hollywood has always favored the anorexic chic look. That's why for every 1 Kathy Bates you have 50 Kirsten Dunst's.

For the record, I adore Kirsten.... but I agree with your point.

Yes it has.
To reverse it we need commonsense.
A commodity the world is short on at present
