Can you transfer old pokemon, 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation from Diamond and Pearl into your Emerald, Sapphire and ruby

you can upload pokemon from fire, leaf, ruby, sapphire and emerald onto a pearl/diamond game.
you cannot go from pearl/diamond to any previous games.

From Pearl to Diamond, yes, but from FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, etc... no. You can't because the games are for Game Boy Advance (SP) and the two new ones are for Nintendo DS. Like you can't send anything from Chrystal to Red version to Ruby or Pokemon Colosseum. It is completely impossible.
