The 'bite the coin trick' takes a lot of practice and some special props. You can get the stuff you need at a magic or novelty shop if you are really interested. It is not too expensive.
Without buying props, probably the easiest tricks would be those using what is called the French Drop.
To do a French Drop, hold a quarter (or bigger) coin in one hand between the first two fingers and the thumb. Hold the coin kind of flat so people can see it.
With your other hand, reach over to take the coin. For fingers will be over the coin, and the thumb will go under it.
In real life, if you close this hand, it will capture the coin and take it. For the trick, as you close your hand, let the coin fall down into the palm of the hand orignally holding it as soon as the other hand is hiding it from view.
The MAGIC here is ACTING like the coin is really in the new hand! Let the hand with the coin curl naturally and just sit there as naturally and calmly as possible. Look at the hand where everyone thinks the coin is- imagine with all your power that it is still there!
A good practice technique is to REALLY take the coin and see how your hand is shaped, how it moves with a coin really in it, and copying that when it is empty.
Now, you can do several kinds of tricks.
Borrow a quarter. Have it marked. French Drop it and hold the imaginary coin over a table. Move the real coin hand under the table, not letting people see the coin. Slap the table with the fake coin hand, pause a heartbeat, and take out the real coin- showing it off for everyone to see.
OR
Borrow a coin, French Drop it, pretend to drop it in your pocket. Use the other hand to pull it from a friend's pocket or backpack.
OR...
Well, there are a million ways to use this simple effect. With practice, you can French Drop lots of things, and have them reappear in someone's ear, etc.
The MAGIC here IS NOT THE FRENCH DROP! It is your ability to make people think that the coin is REALLY in your hand, and then making it look like you did something really magical to make it vanish and reappear.
French Drop, then immediately open the hand to show it gone? NOT magical. People will instantly figure out where it went.
Wait a moment, then DO something to make it vanish- reach in your pocket with the other hand and get a 'magic pencil' or 'magic dust' (and maybe drop the coin off at the same time)- something to make people believe something magical is happening in your hand.

here you go!
Coin Bite Trick
Effect: The magician borrows a coin from the spectator and is seen to take a bite out of the coin.
Preparation: Take a quarter and file one side of it down so it looks like someone has bitten a chunk of it off.
Method: Approach a spectator and ask them to borrow a quarter.
You already have the gimmicked quarter in palm position between your thumb and forefinger of your right hand. Take the quarter from the spectator and quietly move your finger and thumb and switch the coins.
Their coin is now slid to the back of your finger.
Pretend to be biting and tearing of a section of what is now your gimmicked coin and eventually tug it free of your mouth to show the spectator who should look amazed.
You can learn all about coin magic in Bobo's Modern Coin Magic which is highly recommended reading and is an excellent way to learn.
