Microsoft Internet Explorer stores your current favorites in your user profile, located on your computer. The path to that profile will depend on your log-on name, or user name. The default path is C:\Documents and Settings\\Favorites
If you have your favorites located in folders, or organized into folders the folders will also appear in the Favorites folder in your profile. You will want to leave this window open and open a new My Computer window so that you can locate the Mazilla folder.
It has been a while since I have done this so bare with me. If memory serves me correctly Mazilla stores your favorites within the Mazilla folder in the Program Files folder on your computer. The default location for this is C:\Program Files\Mazilla\Firefox
Inside the Firefox folder I believe there is a Users folder, inside that a folder named the same as your username and within that there is a Bookmarks folder. Once you have found this you can select all the files in your Microsoft Favorites folder and Paste them into your Book marks folder.
I don't recommend that you completely remove the links from you Favorits folder because you may still use IE on occassion and depending on your default settings in Windows IE may default when a link is clicked on.
The Favorites folder is the most commonly overlooked folder when a person is backing up their important files on a computer and often leaves those people with the task of recreating their links all over again. When you want to save important information from your computer, or you want to have the same favorites links on two computers this method can be used to copy the files onto a CD so that you can put them onto another computer.

Best Wishes, and I hope this information Helped.

Out of all of the internet browsers, Firefox, Safari and internet Explorer are the only ones i've got ever tried. Firefox is the final of the three and, in case you inquire from me, Safari is the subsequent ultimate and internet Explorer in basic terms sucks--it consistently supplies me hassle!
