That's funny!!

It is WAY too early to even have this discussion since free agent and trade time haven't started yet.

Well, I think that the Chicago White Sox will go back to the World series because they still have the good offense and the outstanding pitching staff. As far as the National League, I think that the Cardinals will go back but only if the resign Jeff Suppan, Chris Carpenter, and Jeff Weaver. I'm not sure if Mark Mulder will be a free agent but he would be a great addition to the starting rotation

cubs have no chance with their front office, they also finished the season with one of the worst records in the league and most teams have to rebuild over the seasons unlike the tigers who were one of the few teams that has been able to do it over the years, the mets have a great pitching staff and if they stay healthy then theyll be tough to beat, last year in the playoffs they played without pedro martinez (probably their best starter) and victor zambrano who only played the first two games of the regular season, they also have a ton of young talent on the hitting/fielding side of the ball

for my al team, im not counting out the tigers but i think the yankees should slide in pretty easily, the yankees were embarassed last year with their huge salary and george steinbrener (the owner) and the ny fans will not stand for a crappy post season, the yankees had several injured players ending the season (matsui and sheffield to name just 2) and will invet any amount of money necessary to win the 07 world series

i love the cardinals and the tigers, and i dont think ill see either of my teams in the world series next year, the nl central is gonna be pretty weak next year so if youre a cubs fan (which i think you are), you have a pretty good chance of makin the playoffs, the al central will be one of the toughest divisions next year so if the tigers can make it to the post season, then theyll make it to the big show if they can upset the perenial yankees

LOL, I'm guessing you're a Cubs fan, seeing as they're is no other reason to pick them, seeing as they suck and are only going to be worse next year, probably losing Prior and Wood. Look for the Mets to face off against the Angels, who are going to go big this off-season . I'm a Giants fan by the way and actually don't like the Angels. Heres another one for you, neither the Yankees or Red Sox will even make the playoffs, the Bluejays taking the East and and the Twins and Tigers winning the Central and wild card. Ok that one's a bit of a stretch, but I'm stickin to it.

American league out of : Angels, Twins, Yankees and Red Sox

National league out of : Phillies, Dodgers, Mets and Marlins

Red Sox vs Marlins.

Red Sox, healthy lineup, Schilling, Beckett, Clemens/Lester (at least one of these two will be there - I say this because I think Clemens is done with the Astros as a player - finish with Boston august onwards or retirement), Papelbon (starting or the 'pen)

Marlins with Olsen, Willis, Johnson, Sanchez

What a pitching duel.

Its hard to tell at this time but I would guess that it would be the Cardinals and the Twins, or White Sox. I would like to see the Red Sox as I am a big fan but the outlook is not looking so good, but we'll see what the off season brings.

The Orioles vs. Rockies.
Rockies get their first World Championship. John Elway buys them later.
