Wait, is the premier league british football aka american soccer? Anyway, you have to give british tv some time, but if you're american you probably won't get it. They have slang words you won't understand at first and dry humour. Not a lot of slapstick, more verbal humour, talking, innuendos... And the jokes are very quick, you can miss them. A nice intro to british tv is The Office or Absolutely Fabulous. I hate mr bean. But there are some other popular brit shows depending on what genre you like. Merlin just ended. Dr Who is popular. Downtown Abbey, I think is british - haven't seen any of the above. But OMG - Sherlock Holmes! The new version that only has a few eps every season. So good! Benedict Cumber-something.
