well . . your question needs to be more specified, if you want a synonym by the body language, an expressive glance is enough to tell love as no language could, and if you mean a synonym in English, some ppl could use adoration, while i prefer the word "soul mate" . . and if you want a synonym in my language, Arabic i mean, then it could be "Hobb" or "Hawa" or "Eshk" ;) have a lovely day . .

How about "committed good will"? Nothing really substitutes for love, unless you focus on some aspect of love, like friendship, eros, agape, and the like.
