Vivian Liberto Distin. She is from San Antonio. They met while he was stationed at an Air Force Base.
She came back to visit and found their names they had carved years before in a bench on the riverwalk. She tried to acquire the bench from city officials and offered to pay for the replacement. No go. They removed it from its spot and stored it in a warehouse.
