Because parents don't want to hear that news. If they take their kids off Ritalin and/or antidepressants, they would actually need to PARENT their children rather than pump some pills into them.

do you know how many ppl out there are on antidepressants, or ritalin? i bet the amount of ppl involved in school shootings that are on those account for about .001% of all the ppl on those drugs.
its like saying "oh, this guy is a criminal, and he drank soda!!". well, so DOES EVERYONE ELSE, and they're ok, so i bet soda isnt the problem.
if someone is f*cked up, they're gonna be f*cked no matter what happens, or if they're on prescription drugs or not. end of story.

Most of the school shooters were victims of bullies that felt like getting revenge.
Antidepressants have been shown to increase depression and suicide attempts among a few adolescents, but not aggressive behavior.

It's a good thing we don't hear about it much. Wouldn't want to give people ideas. Every settled lawsuit jacks up the cost of meds for people who really need them.
