The Fellowship of the Ring
The Two Towers
The return of the king
There are... 2 versions, 1 is theo ne you saw in the cinema, other is the extended version. Recently they release a new one, with more stuff, the making et etc.

Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (DVD #1), Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers (DVD #2), Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (DVD #3).
Then there are the 6 disc extra footage for each movie with 6-8 hours of footage that hit the cutting room floor and couldn't make it into the movie because of time constraints.
altogether there's 9 dvd releases, including new DVD's of the originally released movies with extra stuff added to the special features.
and then ther're the animated movies that were released back in the 70's with the same names, and including the Hobbit which was the story of Bilbo Baggins before the Lord of the Rings storyline.
