Good question. I personally dont know why. When I hear a song that makes my emotions all funny it's because I can relate to something in the song with my life. It just sometimes kinda hits home. Really hard. Then when you hear the song you then realize that you are not the only person out there with that problem, or feelings.

For the same reason conversation stimulates our brains. Music is the language of emotion. When a certain type of music begins to stir certain emotions within us, it simply means we've learned to emotionally "read" that particular kind of music.

Music is not only takes you to different world but also will share ur emtions through different tunes. when u are happy and if u listen to ur happy mood music u feel u are fflying and u will start dancing according to its tune.Music is power which mesmerise everybody. I feel music is god. our hindu philosophy is music is Brahma. We say musicians as Nada Brahmha. Nada is sound.
So to say music surrounds the world. music will stirr emotions cos tunes, and compose are really matters.

Excellent question. I don't know. But music is very, very powerful. Powerful to the listener and very powerful to the composer who brought the music to life. It's art for the ears!
