I'm in middle school and I am,well like most people kind of self - contious.I purposely don't shop at the stores that EVERYONE shops at(American Eagle,Hollister).I'm a quiet person and my grades consist of B+'s or higher.I have a pretty good scense of humor but sometimes I'm a little twisted.I have dirty blond hair that goes down to my mid - back and have green eyes.I have some zits but I usually wear some cover up,that's all the make-up I wear,unless chap stick counts.I'd really like to get an idea of what i'm considered to be through a guys perspective.Thanks.

I completely understand middleschool, as I am a middle schooler myself. I also understand you wanting to be different, but you're going about different a little wrong. Instead of not shopping at shops everyone shops in, DON'T let anyone define what you can and cannot do, except your parents and Religious Guidlines. Go into these stores, and get what you like. If you don't like anything, don't get anything, but definately don't let something as stupid as ego get in your way!
As for the make-up, I'm an 8th grader, and just like you, not in the most popular crowd. When you first enter middle school, as a girl, you are very freaked out!!! Everybody starts all this make-up stuff, and girl's start getting boobs, and it can be very hard to deal with! I would try to put a little more effort into it though! You say all you wear is cover up... I can fix this!
For the zits, you can try Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel. As for the lips, you should just put on a clear little gloss, like some Bonnebell or even that new Blistex thing works out great for a glossy, but not to anything else result. Anything else I doubt you want to wear without killing me, but a little black eyeliner can go a long way, just not very much, a small line at the bottom of your eye works wonderfully. All the advice I had to give!

You sound like me except I have blue eyes and i wear eye liner and mascara and eye shadow as well and my hair is not quite as long as yours.
Oh! and I am in HS =P I wonder that myself, if guys would find me attractive, but I have learned that guys hate hearing girls act this way (i learned that the hard way) just be confident in yourself. I still have not ever had a boyfriend and I am 15, but I dont care [they cause drama] enjoy your life and have fun!

Shop at those stores. They are there for you as much as they are for anyone else. You will be surprised to see that those popular kids won't look at you and wonder what you are doing there. In fact, they will be glad that you are there. You will find guys that like you if you like them and aren't afraid to show it. It doesn't matter if you are quiet, loud or in between.

My dear, about having self-contious, this is back to you and its good to have it, and about your being pretty, its not a big deal to find a pretty girl, and to be attractive to guys, actually it depends on their desires more than yourself, but to find the right one guy for you, this requires you to start thinking about how you like him to be, even before you find him, and then no matter what you are, you could change to be the one for him, cos if love doesn't change you, then its not love.

well I'm a popular in my middle school
1. not to be mean but make sure you don't have a make up line
2. being like everyone else and dressing like them isn't bad just let your personalty show and still were the clothes
3. being kinda slutty isn't bad make you shirt a little low cut guys think when girls don't let a little show that you stuff
4. don't be a afraid of eyeliner but don't put to much on
5. try sports that well get you popular fast
6.don't be afraid of padded bras ether they make a ton of a difference
7. don't be a teachers pet
8.cut you hair to shoulder lath of a little longer
9.don't be afraid to flirt just don't come on strong just gargle
10. don't be crawl and when some one makes fun of you do it write back
