My heart is black and oh so empty . . . lifeless.
Slowly, I creep to my death.
Wishing it was near.
All is neverending hopelessness.
Never will I be a happy soul.
Every way I go is always wrong.
yes I wrote it .

I believe that you are going thru' a very deep depression state right now. No one can understand what you are going through except yourself.
I shared the same kind of feeling as you are some times ago. It was terrible, it seems the whole world is collasping and life suddenly went into darkness. Nothing seems right!!!
It may take you sometime to get out of it. How long, it will depends on several factors. One way is to quickly mix around with plentiful of good friends and find activities to enjoy. especially sports as it makes you tired at the end of the day at the same time built-up you health which you needed most now.
"Blessed are those who are too busy to think in the day and too tired to think in the night".

Wow. First if you have any thoughts of hurting yourself, tell someone. Second, either you are in a terrible time in your life or youre a drama queen who's world doesn't meet your expectations. If you'r life is terrible change it, get another job, stop the drugs, if it's you're home life get a divorce, move out as soon as you can. Just remember it's just a period of time not time period. If you're a drama queen in the suburbs who's boyfriend didn't remember your 3 week anniversary or your mom expects you to go to school in old navy jeans instead of khakis from the gap please play in traffic.

Interesting, early dark peotry. Keep up the work, just remember 90% of the people out there prefer Sunny/Happy prose. Just remember, happiness is a state of mind.

It's pretty self-explanatory. I think if this is really how you feel then it's good you're acknowledging it. Any honest poem is a good poem, because it's doing it's job...it's letting the reader into the world being explained.
The real question is: Will you let a reader help you with your pain?

It's kind of depressing and, don't take this personally, but it sounds like something almost every teenage girl would write. It sounds to me like your wishing for you life to end! I don't know you or your style, but that poem wasn't exactly my cup of tea. It was kind of sad. =' (

You sound suicidal. Hopefully it is not "autobiographical" - and you are not so unhappy.
It IS a good poem. If you are depressed - get help. And keep writing - 'cause you're good!

when i read the first "stanza" initially i thought it was something that a person dying of a terminal illness would think. but, it seems like the thoughts of someone who is suicidal perhaps. it's depressing but beautiful.

i hope you will take time before you crawl too close to it and see there is still light somewhere. anyone who has an ability to describe their feelings so personal still has much to do in life.
