I always thought of myself as being a tomboy growing up and am even more now...... and I personally think that guys would prefere their woman with some back bone and not afraid to get alittle mud/or oil on her hands, rather than a prissy girl, who cares to much about how she looks. Besides when you dress up really good for a guy now and then you sparkle like a dimond! Be who you are, they will love you for you.

You'll find some guy just for you some day-what would they be called-a jane girl? Tomboy is cool. We guys sometimes can have a blast. It is not hard to see why a girl might sometimes want to get in on the action.

...and what football, nascar hockey etc fan would not like to have a girl that is itching to go to the big game with him or sit in front of the TV for sports with him and drink a beer?

Yes, it IS a crime...lol

Personally, I think that being a 'tomboy' involves more than merely not waering tight jeans and also, I think the word is pointless past puberty...

Women come in all shades and personalities. Why define yourself, simply because of some BS -dictated idea of what women SHOULD be?

Tomboys are OK by me.
Sure, I like a woman to be feminine. But if she's always obsessing over her clothes, hair & makeup, it's a big turn-off.
I can relate much better to someone who isn't quite so glamorous, but isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves & get her hands dirty. If she can change the oil in her car by herself, somehow I find that very attractive.
As a rule, I think tomboys are more genuine.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I myself think tomboys are extremely cool to be around. I'm a motor head(build cars etc.), and it's discouraging that women can't see the art in this activity. Yeah I know I'm not out saving whales and trees and all that, but I've met so few women who'll even take the time to learn about mechanical marvels. I like women who live in both worlds, who can dress like the stereotype women when they choose or run around in jeans and tees. Anyway here's to tomboys!!!
