I have only reported a couple people so far. I have written in an explanation once, but the other times I just typed obvious, other than putting the reason for the report. Should I type in more than that? I mean will, yahoo take it seriously?

I'm asking that here because I usually only go to the GLTB section, and the reports are for bashers.

Sorry I tried to edit the question but I couldn't. It should say "Do you have to type in anything when you report someone?"

Yes, just type a few words ... homophobic, hateful, sexual, racist, etc. -- whatever pertains. They do take the reports seriously and they will remove the questions and often they will suspend the user from using Yahoo.

I don't very often report anybody anymore---I just ignore their questions...I don't know if y/answers reads anything...they are sort of a god-like entity...that nobody ever sees or talks to...and why they do somethings is totally beyond most people's comprehension.

no, you don't have to unless you need to elaborate.
